Who is Helen?
Little Eliza Music is run by Helen Sanderson-White a professional singer, pianist and songwriter based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. She teaches singing, piano, music theory and songwriting privately, as well as running singing courses in the South East of England.
Helen has a BA (Hons) in Music from Middlesex University and has worked extensively as a performer, songwriter and tutor. She also has a BA (Hons) in Theology from the London School of Theology and a BTEC L2 Introduction to Life Coaching from Newcastle College. Whilst studying music at Middlesex, she met Rachael Forsyth and Liz Mitchell who she went on to form the Dizzybird trio with; now Rachael and Helen perform as duo under the name 'The Orange Garden'.
Helen has been in many bands and has also been the musical director for various different projects and organisations. She is comfortable performing and writing in many different styles including pop, soul, gospel, folk, dance and classical. She has been involved in session work with DSL Productions and has recently finished a project for the Cumbria based band, Liquidscreamer, which is due to be released in early 2007. In the past she has taught 'Singing For Fun' and 'Keyboard Skills' at Kensington and Chelsea College, and 'Pop Singing for Beginners' at Morley College, and supervised degree level dissertations for students at Oasis College, London.
Helen has released two albums of her own work; her debut album was released on the Houndsville Record Label in 2004 entitled 'Conversations With The Heart'. In 2006, she released her second album 'Fallen But Not Fatal' on her own label 'Little Eliza Music" and more recently 'The Sanctus Project' which is currently awaiting publication.
In 2007, she played live on BBC Three Counties Radio and appeared on Aylesbury's Mix 96 music show. Her music has been described as

Helen's voice has been compared to Julianne Regan of 'All About Eve' fame, and www.overplay.com recently described her music as

She cites her musical influences as Lisa Loeb, Sarah McLachlan, Julia Fordham, and Kate Bush. When asked who she sounds like, she always replies "I sound like me!".
